Privacy notice.

Who we are

VESBeck Handyman is a division of VESBeck Consulting (Pty) Ltd, Knysna, Western Cape. Phone 066 068 7288, email vian@vesbeckhandyman.co.za. Our information officer is Vian Trytsman.

What we collect, and from where

When you visit this site: it has no forms, accounts, cookies or analytics, and stores nothing about you. Our hosting provider, Firebase Hosting (Google), receives technical details such as your IP address to deliver and protect the page.

When you contact us: when you call, email, or message us on WhatsApp or Facebook, we receive what you send: your name, your number or email address, your message, and any photos or details of the job. We collect these from you directly.

Why

To answer you, quote, do the job and follow it up. We don't use your details for marketing.

Do you have to give it?

Visiting the site needs nothing from you. To give you a quote we need a way to reach you and what the job is.

Laws that require it

No law requires us to collect this information through this website.

Who receives it

Google, which hosts this site (Firebase Hosting); WhatsApp and Facebook (Meta), if you contact us there; our email provider, if you email us; and anyone the law requires us to disclose to. We don't sell your information.

Outside South Africa

Google and Meta may process your information outside South Africa, including in the United States. Your IP address reaches Google only because that is how the page you asked for is delivered to you, and a message reaches Meta because you chose to contact us through WhatsApp or Facebook.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it for your job and our records, then we delete it.

Your rights

You may ask whether we hold information about you (free of charge), ask to see it, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Contact our information officer on 066 068 7288 or at vian@vesbeckhandyman.co.za. We answer in writing within 30 days.
